This beautifully bound notebook is filled with paper made from 80 to 90-percent crushed stone. During the process, no tree fibers are used, and paper does not have grain. The paper is easy to write on and easy to cut using a pair of scissors. On the other hand, the paper is difficult to tear, waterproof and ink does not bleed through it. When you are done with it, the stone paper is recyclable with other wood-based paper or left to biodegrade in 12 months. The estimated carbon footprint of stone paper is 60-percent less than regular paper.

Mechanical binding uses metallic filaments to bind the pages of the notebook together. This binding strategy allows the notebook to lie perfectly flat, making it great for applications where you need to write on your pages constantly. Double-loop wiring is a cost-effective bookbinding form that allows you to open the notebook completely flat in half.
