I read the review before I bought this complaining that the lighter color in the "black agate" wasn't white but I didn't truly understand how not-white it is. I bought these boxes to replace similar boxes that are 50+ years old and the new ones are significantly more "yellowed" than the old ones. I'd be upset if I had to look at them but I don't.
